There is a great tradition of people eating other people in Greek mythology. Apollo ate his lover and Zeus ate his pregnant wife out of fear that his child would become stronger than him. He then suffered a terrible headache and asked Hephaestus to relieve him. Hephaestus knocked him on the head with an axe and Athena emerged out of Zeus' head. Interactive version coming soon.

Typefaces
I found these in a book at the library. The first one is just beautiful but unfortunately I cannot find it online.

Clément

I am writing my dissertation on Outsider art and Avant-garde art and I came across this astonishing picture. It is the wall of a cell in an asylum where Clément spent 2 years in solitude after trying to burn down his family home. He carved this intrigate pattern using his spoon and the broken handle of his pot. I thought stories like this one only happen in movies.

Saturn

I found this very intriguing image in a book on alchemical engravings. The story behind it is that Saturn ate all of his children because he was afraid they would become stronger than him. When his wife was about to give birth to Jupiter she tricked him by giving him a rock to eat instead. Saturn then vomited the rock which became a mountain.
