Yoga by equinox parody
When I first watched the original video (2nd video) I did think that of course Bryony Smyth is amazing at inversions but the video itself is too sexualised and kind of misses the point of yoga.
I am so thankful that the original video exists because it inspired the parody which is one of the best things I have ever watched about yoga...and it is definitely more honest hahaha.

Boonchu Tanti's Ashtanga Illustrations
I recently started doing Ashtanga yoga again and I really enjoy it. I love the fact that it is very challenging and the movement is flowing so it feels a bit like a dance.
My friend Elena showed me these illustrations of Boonchu Tanti. What I like is that some of them are based on real people and events. The first one was inspired by this video with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and the second one features Tim Feldmann (Kino MacGregor's husband) in Durvasana thinking about Kino adjusting him into the pose:)

Microsoft's Kinect
Have you seen Microsoft's Kinect? I saw it in a multimedia store the other day and was really impressed. Moving things with your body rather than just a mouse makes you feel really nice. Learn more about Kinect and its incredible uses here.

Weaving for my mother
I am back home for a couple of weeks and I've been helping my mum to finish an order for a custom made cloth. It looks a bit messy on the loom but all of the extra bits of yarn will be cut once we take it off the loom. Will be posting a new illustration I am working on soon!
