Sorry for the lag of posts. I've been in bed with a terrible cold for nearly a week. Been trying to find some inspiration online and found these old photos by accident. It's funny to compare them with these

I am going to an exhibition on Diaghilev and the Golden Age of Ballet Russes tomorrow at the V&A...can't wait!
This is a painting by Joachim Patinir made in 1524. I found this in a book and was intrigued by the serene colors. Looking at this makes me calm and it is hard to believe that there is a part of of hell painted there!

Dancers among us is another inspiring project from Jordan Matter. Wish I was a dancer so that I could do stuff like this in public!

I am a big fun of Klaus Haapaniemi's work and was really happy to discover these beautiful plates, mugs and bowls illustrated by him in a tiny little shop this morning. I don't think I could ever use them though I'd just decorate them in my house. You can buy them online here.
I know this is not one of Bosch's famous paintings but I just love the old man's posture, his hands and the little pig next to him.

Dimitris' photographs are so atmospheric and inspiring. Can't wait to have a photo session with him! You can see more of his work here.

I have recently discovered these great oil paintings by Akino Kondoh. I really admire the dreamlike effect she creates and the way she mixes colors.
Manuel Vason's photographs are theatrical and very impressive. He likes photographing performers.
